My design style is a contemporary, eclectic mix of strong form and elegant lines, I am drawn to a variety of sources for my inspirational material.

These have included such diverse subjects as the Arum lily, the Ocean, Architecture and , currently, Landscape.
I work solely in precious metals and sometimes include both precious and semi-precious stones to achieve the final aesthetic.

Each piece is individually hand-made and finished to a high standard. I believe that the finish of a piece is of the highest priority if it is to achieve its full potential.
The techniques I use include hand forming, hammering, and a variety of surface decoration methods.

I am very interested in achieving a contrasting effect in most of my work and seek to realise this through surface decoration such as texturing, and am currently exploring ways to use the ancient technique of Granulation in a contemporary style.

I grew up in Dungeness, in a fishing family, but now live and work in Brighton.
