Gill grew up in Yorkshire. She graduated in 1984 with an HND in Advertising and fashion photography, automatically gaining professional membership to the British Institute of Professional Photography.

Gill started her career in travel photography, commissioned internationally by such clients as British Airways and Thomas Cook.

After 5 years Gill put down roots in London and set up a studio specialising in advertising and photographing people. It was during this time that she won numerous Kodak and Fuji awards for her excellence in photographing people.

After taking 6 years out of photography to start a family and build a marketing business, Gill returned a few years ago to produce the stunning fresh images that she is known for today. Her work is now shown in galleries across the UK and abroad. Now working with companies like IKEA her work is becoming highly sought after.

Gill's subjects capture the unity and desertion in nature through landscapes, seascapes and flowers. Gill's award winning unique style makes her work instantly recognizable.
